DIMAPUR- KHONOMA (87 KM/4HRS)
On arrival, you will meet with our representative at Dimapur railway station and thereafter you will be driven to Khonoma, en route a wood and bamboo craft unit where you can explore Mezoma village. This will be followed by an overnight stay at the Khonoma homestay.

KHONOMA
You will be taken to explore the art and craft around Khonoma. You may come across women weavers, they make beautiful shawls of different colours and patterns. You may also see men making cane baskets and spears. You can see the ceremonial gate, morung etc. After lunch in Khonoma you will be taken to see how jhum cultivation is done along with Alder trees, this act has being practicing by our forefathers since generations. This is said to be the most scientific and sustainable way of practicing jhuming cultivation. Later, you will be returned to the homestay for overnight at Khonoma.

KHONOMA - KOHIMA (20KM/1HR)
Check out after breakfast in the Khonoma homestay; you will be driven to the capital Kohima. Here you can check in and go to explore the local weavers and some of their professional wood carving, you can also visit the Emporium to buy some souvenirs. Later, visit the war memorial, state museum, Kigwema village, Kisama village - where the annual Hornbill festival is held. After the excursion back to the hotel in Kohima for overnight stay.

KOHIMA - TUOPHEMA (45KM)
You will be driven pass Tuophema village to visit Tseminyu village which falls under Rengma Naga tribe. Here, you can witness the weaving skills of the local people, they earn their living through weaving. After a little tour, you will be taken to Tuophema village for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the village and go sightsee the auspicious stone, it is believed that it is from this stone the locals picked up their shawl designs. TUOPHEMA - MOKOKCHUNG (120 KM/6 HRS)
With packed lunch you will be driven to Mokokchung. On the way you will be taken to visit Longsa village and Longkhum village where you will see different designs and shape of baskets and shawls. On arrival in Mokokchung, you can check in and overnight stay at the hotel.

MOKOKCHUNG- CHANGKI - MOKOKCHUNG (40KM)
You will be take to visit a sleepy village Changki and it is famous for earthen pot making. You can explore the charming village and see local artisans making pot with mud. Post lunch in the village, you will be driven back to Mokokchung enroute Chungtia and Aliba village. Overnight stay in Mokokchung.

MOKOKCHUNG- JORHAT & DEPARTURE (130 KM)
On day 7 you will be driven to Jorhat in Assam en route you may see local weavers making Bamboo mat. We can visit one such village in Nagaland’s Tuli town, ilenden village as mat making is progressing in Nagaland as well thereafter in Mishing village in Assam where you can visit local weavers making traditional shawls. Later, we will drop you at Jorhat railway station/airport or Guwahati airport for onward destination.
